Programme Manager – Disaster Readiness (COFA READY)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the implementation of Component 2 (Disaster Readiness) of the COFA READY project in Palau. The role is based in Koror and focuses on strengthening disaster preparedness across the Republic of Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and oversee all activities under Component 2 (Readiness) of the COFA READY project in Palau.
• Collaborate closely with the Component 2 Programme Coordinator and the Head of Programmes in Pohnpei to ensure effective delivery of project activities.
• Work with Palau’s National Emergency Management Office (NEMO) and other government counterparts, development partners, UN agencies and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and IOM organisational standards, including reporting and documentation.
• Support the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the Programme Coordinator while providing guidance to the Programme Manager and Head of Sub‑Office in Palau.
